The Most Beautiful Lady
Last Saturday the new Miss Schweiz got elected and today the newspapers are full whether she is beautiful indeed or just a girl that you might see every day on the street. To me this is so typical for Swiss people. Can’t just be proud of the elected person but have to pull her down and complain about it.
But hey, she got elected in a very democratically way, 50% voice by the jury and 50% by the audience who could call for her favourite girl.
Shouldn’t Swiss people be happy about that and pleased with the system? I mean we should accept the voice of the majority – that’s our way, the way how we are, isn’t it??
Seeing this fact just makes me a little sad because it strengthens my feeling that so many people in Switzerland are complaining no matter what about instead of just being happy…
I think the Re-Integration seminar at DO-IT could be of help for me! :-)

Although the name of the track at this AIESEC Conference doesn’t sound too much appealing to outsiders I hope to get something out of it, that it might help me as a full-blood AIESECer with all the issues I faced after having been away for such a long time in a country where so many things work differently. A country which’s life style and people I miss so much!!
So I won’t complain about our new Miss Schweiz.
I cannot do so anyway since I’ve made my decision quite a while ago on who is the most beautiful girl in the world to me.
I miss you so much my sweetest Tania!
Sidenote: I took the picture before the Miss Schweiz got elected - so you see that she's not only got the beauty but the right posing as well and much much more...
:-))

Sadly i won't make it to DO-IT... but i do hope it helps you in learning to appreciate your 'home' culture again. Coz for sure there's a lot there to appreciate :) And then maybe you can help me in the same process...
Hugs from Dublin
