following some Inca tracks

After the conference in Lima I went off to explore the city! On Monday night we went to Bierhaus, a famous disco down town, was good fun with all the guys from AIESEC.
Lima is really impressive, so huge with its 9 million habitants. They tried to rob me but nothing happened, don’t worry. Thank you very much to Davo my good old friend who showed me around on Tuesday.

Aca las fotos de Lima

Tuesday night a 14 hours bus ride to Arequipa with my Brazilian travel buddy Isabel who did a CEED in Arequipa for 2 months and kind of went back home and introduced me to the live in this beautiful and relaxed city.

On the same day travel to Cusco, main centre of the Incas for hundreds of years till the Spanish conquistadors arrived. To see all the Inca ruins was really impressive. Just imagine that they carried stones of hundreds of tons over really long distances just with the force of human beings, since their known animals (lamas and apacas) can’t carry big weights. To see their architecture where they put stones upon stones without the usage of anything was really impressive too.

This is the face of the Inca that they made on the rock... Imagine doing them without any tecnology, nothing...

To sum it up the whole journey was amazing, absolutely wonderful and impressive and totally worth the money and time I’ve spent for it!

For sure I’ve voted for Machu Picchu to become a new world wonder.
But let’s the pictures speak, check them out here!

THE WORLD IS MINE
EL MUNDO ES MIO
