ESTOY LEGALMENTE DE VUELTA EN ECUADOR Y TOTALMENTE COSTENO
Due to my expiring visa I had to leave Ecuador on the 5th of April. So together with my sweetheart I went to Mancora, in the North of Peru and enjoyed the Easter weekend there. So officially legal again I came back to Ecuador last Sunday.
On Tuesday I took the night bus to Quito for doing my area coach – was the last LC missing. But I got sick, got fever, the flue, all my body hurting, feeling weak and low. That is SOMBROSO how they call it, a typical thing that happens to COSTENOS (people living at the coast) when they go to the SIERRA (area of the mountains). What happens is that Guayaquil is at the coast, so on sea level whereas Quito is on 2200 meters above sea level, so the air is a lot thinner and there is another body pressure. What’s more that in Guayaquil the normal daily temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius in comparison to Quito’s 11 degrees which seems to a costeno just bloody freezing and is hard to adapt within a bus ride of 8 hours. I was wearing 1 T-Shirt, 1 Sweatshirt, a thickest pullover I got and a jacket and I was still trembling – freezing from within…
Although sick I managed to do all my coaching well.
I’m one day back in Guayaquil and feel so much better. SI SOY COSTENO Y NECESITO EL CALOR DE MI QUERIDO GUAYAQUIL
Yes, I’m a guy from the coast and need the hot of my beloved Guayaquil
