Giovanni's life out there

Tuesday, March 06, 2007

Lately it hits me more often - that strange feeling of which I quite don’t know what it is. Maybe I just realize that the end of my time here in Ecuador is getting closer and closer. Of course I’m looking forward to going back home and especially to the new adventure that I’m gonna step in – hopefully if I manage to make another dream come true.
But I have established such a great life here, have amazing friends, a challenging job that is full passion and since the new year I’m also much more focused on achieving my personal goals. Actually I do just great with it and I guess it’s just the thought that all of this will be over in 3 months that makes me sad. Also seeing that so many people have left that I’m actually missing and they miss it to be here and are working hard on the re-acclimatization…Time is just flying by – if I look back where I was a year ago… at my “catch u later” party in Bern and you know I don’t like saying see you soon if it’s not given that it’s for sure… which will be the case here… I don’t know
Strange

Will just go on and fully enjoy every single day. Cause YES, I’m still aware and grateful of what I have…Have a great day

    Hola Giovanni

You don't know me, I came across your blog on Laura's Blog and I have been following your entries for some time now. I have lived in Ecuador for three months in 2005 and I still feel strongly connected to that country. I even considered applying for the MC as you did after my studies..I can understand very well how you feel and hope you will have a great time left and a good re-integration into Switzerland. Took me a lot of time actually, given the short time period I lived there..

Would be nice getting in contact.

    hey gio,

    happy birthday :-)

it's the curse of a global lifestyle we have to struggle with... unfortunately it's quite addictive, looking forward to hear about your mc abroad experience when you're back in Suiza and before I'm off to España :-)

    abrazos,
    Sarah
